Former Badger/Viking QB Bollinger lands high school job
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) -- Retired NFL quarterback Brooks Bollinger will coach the football team at Hill-Murray High School in Maplewood, Minn.
Bollinger was a star at Grand Forks High School in North Dakota before moving on to the University of Wisconsin and then the NFL, where he played for the New York Jets, Minnesota and Dallas. He played the last two seasons for the United Football League's Florida Tuskers, winning league MVP his first season, before calling it a career.
Bollinger now lives in Minnesota's Twin Cities and tells the Minneapolis Star Tribune that he wants to stay in the area.
