SHERRY (WAOW) -- A fire in the Town of Sherry killed about 80 to 90 head of cattle.
Workers saved about 50 head of cattle. The barn is completely destroyed.
The Sherry Fire Department was dispatched Tuesday morning just before six o'clock. They say it took about two hours to get the fire under control.
"Well, you think about it a lot. The worst is in the evenings and at night. You wake up and you don't want to think about it but you do. I start thinking about it, not just this one but the one before. I can remember the other one just like it happened yesterday too," Owner Clarence Peplinski said.
The owner says they don't know what caused the fire. He says the barn is heated with hot water from a stove outside the barn. They suspect it was an electrical fire.
