WESTON (WAOW) -- It wouldn't be the Super Bowl without some super food. Local bakeries are breaking out the green and gold frosting to decorate treats for this weekend.
Debbie Meier, the owner of the Loving Traditions Cakery, said the demands of hungry fans will keep them busy right up until Sunday afternoon.
"Because of the Packers being in the Super Bowl," said Meier, "A lot more cookies and cakes than ever before. We're excited and we hope that they'll win."
Their newest item, the cake pop, comes in a variety of shapes, like footballs and cheese heads. Meier said they've made hundreds of cake pops so far and dozens of helmets and other shaped treats.
