Technicians will talk about benefits and dangers of natural gas

MARATHON COUNTY (WAOW) -- Wisconsin Public Service Gas technicians spread the word: natural gas can be safe, but you still need to be careful.

A group of technicians plan to travel to schools around Marathon County over the next two weeks, teaching a 35 minute program that explains both the benefits and the dangers of natural gas.

They will visit Newman Catholic School 7th graders on Monday, February 7th at 2PM. Next, they will stop in at Maine Elementary School on Tuesday, February 8th at 9AM. They travel to the Faith Christian Academy to talk to 6th, 7th and 8th graders on Thursday, February 10th at 8:45AM. Technicians will visit D.C. Everest Middle School to talk with 6th graders at 7:30AM on Friday, February 11th. Finally they will stop at Athens High School to speak with 6th graders on Wednesday, February 16th at 9:45 AM.
