WAUSAU (WAOW) -- Potholes on the roads can also do some major damage to your car.
David Knetter, the service manager at Brickner's, said rough roads can contribute to a number of problems.
Knetter said drivers should try to avoid driving through potholes, especially with their steering tires, and make sure their tires are properly inflated.
"Typically this time of the year when the potholes are real bad and the cars hit the potholes, they can knock the car out of alignment," said Knetter.
Knetter said customers may also notice their cars pulling to one side or drifting around the road. They might also notice an uneven feel in the steering wheel itself. At some shops, getting your alignment fixed can run anywhere between $60 and $80, plus any additional costs for other damage.
