Wis. superintendent could face more charges

MILWAUKEE (AP) - A superintendent of the New Holstein School District accused of trying to meet a 15-year-old boy for sex could face more charges.

According to a criminal complaint, 58-year-old Christopher Nelson was arrested Jan. 19 in a Milwaukee police sting.

New Holstein Police Chief Brian Reedy said Wednesday police were seeking child pornography charges, but no information was available Thursday from the Calumet County District Attorney's Office.

Court records say child pornography was found on multiple flash drives, including some in Nelson's district office.

The Sheboygan Press reports that Nelson is jailed in Milwaukee on a $20,000 cash bond. A preliminary hearing is Feb. 15.
