WISCONSIN (WAOW) -- Letter carriers ask that you do your part to help Valentine's Day cards and letters arrive on time. It's a reminder to shovel your walkway and keep all stairs clear of snow and ice.
If you live in a rural area with a drive-up mailbox, keep the road clear so the Postal Service can drive-up and deliver your mail without getting out of the vehicle.
Letter carriers are not required to deliver mail if they think the trip to your mailbox is unsafe, so you might not get your mail. Or worse, you could be liable for injuries that occur on your property.
