Wis. Capitol to close Sunday afternoon

MADISON, Wis. (AP) - Protesters at the Wisconsin Capitol will have to completely clear out by the end of the weekend, as officials announce a return to normal business hours starting Sunday.

Department of Administration officials issued a statement Friday that police have worked with protesters to ensure they have all items cleared from the building by Sunday at 4 p.m. Capitol Police ask that protesters not bring any blankets or sleeping bags into the Capitol starting Saturday, but will allow them to sleep on the ground and first floors of the building Saturday night.

Any items left behind at 4 p.m. Sunday will be taken to a lost-and-found station in the Capitol.
