MERRILL (WAOW)--Renovations to the Lincoln County Courthouse are finished.
A ribbon cutting ceremony and open house were held Saturday to celebrate the completion. Tours were available and speakers highlighted renovations to the building first opened in 1903.
Organizers say re-modelers kept the historical integrity of the building intact while updating courtrooms and Internet capability.
Wisconsin Supreme Court Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson spoke at the ceremony and had the honor of cutting the ribbon.
The building has brand new wiring and wireless Internet. People are welcome to come and view the courthouse during normal business hours.
