Producer

Colin Baker joined Newsline 9 in January 2011 as a news producer. He hails from West Lafayette, Indiana but attended college at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He majored in Broadcast Journalism and minored in Editing.

While in the broadcasting program at BYU, Colin helped spearhead a Friday sports show dedicated to BYU football. In addition, he executive produced other news shows for the BYU Daily News during the week. Colin also produced and reported for Classical 89 FM radio. In 2010, Colin interned at Fox 28 in South Bend, Indiana.

Colin enjoys sports of all kinds, though his favorite teams are the Indianapolis Colts, the BYU Cougars and Purdue Boilermakers.

Colin is an avid reader and writer. He is also fluent in Spanish after living in Argentina as a missionary for 2 years.
