NEILLSVILLE (AP) -- A Wisconsin woman is charged with threatening to kill a judge.
A criminal complaint says 42-year-old Lori Armbrust sent a letter to a Clark County judge last week threatening to fatally stab him. The complaint says Armbrust wrote a similar letter last month, but it was intercepted by a counselor. Prosecutors say Armbrust told investigators she wanted to kill the judge because he committed her.
Armbrust is institutionalized at Whispering Pines Manor in Neillsville. Armbrust is charged with two counts of threatening a judge.
