Betty J. Dougherty, 74, of Plover, formerly of Oshkosh, died Tuesday March 1, 2011 at Ministry St. Joseph Hospital Marshfield. Born April 3, 1936 in Plover. Daughter of the late Bernard & Frances (Eickendorf) Krueger.

She attended local schools graduating from P.J. Jacobs. Her marriage to William Dougherty took place in May of 1964 in Oshkosh. Her husband preceded her in death on April 2, 2010.

Betty worked at Younkers and Miles Kimball's in Oshkosh were she retired.

She enjoyed shopping, traveling, animals and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her brothers, Bernard Krueger of Waterford, William (Germaine) Krueger of Plover and Jerome (JoAnn) Krueger of Plover. Sisters, Beverly Sterling of Plover and Elaine (Victor) Heck of Plover. Also survived by a brother in law, Oscar Hopp of Plover and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister Patricia Hopp.

Funeral Mass 10:30am Monday March 7, 2011 at St. Bronislava Catholic Church Plover. Rev Jim Trempe officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation on Monday from 9:30am until time of service at the church. Pisarski Community Funeral Home And Cremation Center Plover is assisting the family with arrangements.
