WESTON (WAOW) - The snow is falling and the temperatures are around freezing. And the first thing on your mind is, ice cream, right?
It is for Briq's Soft Serve in central and northern Wisconsin.
Three of the eight locations opened the last weekend in February.
The owner, Holly Briquelet Miller, says that's been the tradition no matter the weather since the franchise started in 1985 during a blizzard.
Briquelet Miller says business was going well Wednesday.
The stores in Wausau, Weston and Mosinee opened the last weekend in February. The locations in Rib Mountain, Merrill and Rhinelander are scheduled to open Friday, March 18th. The Edgar and Minocqua store openings will be determined by the weather.
