WAUSAU (WAOW)--  From E-filing to smart phones..from a visit to H&R block or just a plain old paper and pen. What really is the best way to take the stress out of tax season?

With so many options it is hard to know where to turn. Each method claims to be the best but not all of them are as easy as they seem.

There is one method however, that seems to truly be above the rest.

66 percent of Americans E-filed their taxes in 2010.

Because it's easy.

Jamie Sarkauskas, owner of the Liberty Tax branches in Wausau says that E-filing is rapidly growing and for a good reason.

"E-filing has revolutionized this year."

Tackling paper forms can be a tedious process and a cause for errors. But software tools can walk you through the process step by step and help you receive your refund check in as little as ten days.

"There is really no reason not to E-file anymore"

And sometimes it could even be free.

If you make less than $58,000 a year you can use the IRS' Free File program to prepare your taxes at no cost to you.

Just go to

However, if E-filing doesn't appeal to you, there are other options and trained tax professionals to help you out.

This year the good news is you have three extra days to file your income tax returns, due to a holiday in D.C.
