Program aims to help kids with unmet needs

WAUSAU (WAOW) -- The Boys and Girls Club of Wausau starts a new program. It's called "Unmet Needs." This program is designed to meet specific needs for kids who are doing without.

"It's just a way for people to give directly to kids who need these things, without embarrassing anybody," said Brian Stezenski-Williams, executive director.

Stezenski-Williams says the recession has really made the needs more obvious and intense.

Some of the things the program  is looking for are hygiene supplies, new and gently used clothing, new unused shoes, school supplies, bus passes, and gift card. To donate click on the link attached to this story.
