STEVENS POINT (WAOW)--People got a special look inside the Museum of Natural History Saturday. The museum's annual open house allowed visitors an inside look at artifacts and exhibits normally closed to the public.
UW Stevens Point students led guided tours throughout the museum. The "collection crawl" was designed to show people a range of exhibits from archeology to mammology.
Organizers say the event promotes the museum as a community space and allows people to see what the University is working on.
The event wrapped up at 2 p.m. Participating faculty said over 200 people took part.
