MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Marquette and Wisconsin learned their NCAA tournament fates on Sunday. The Golden Eagles are seeded 11th and facing Xavier and the Badgers are a No. 4 seed and playing Belmont.
Wisconsin (23-8) is in the tournament for the 13th straight season and will play on Thursday in Tucson, Ariz. The Badgers ended their season on an off note, losing an ugly game to Penn State in the Big Ten tournament quarterfinals.
Marquette (20-14) is heading to a 6-11 matchup for the fourth straight season, although it's the first time the Golden Eagles are the lower seed when they play Friday in Cleveland.
It's Marquette's sixth straight NCAA appearance after a strong Big East tournament performance sealed its at-large bid.
