WAUSAU (WAOW) -- While Governor Scott Walker spoke to media and workers inside Piper Products, protestors gathered outside.

Some said they're upset because of the short notice given about Walker's planned visit. With only an hours notice, some said they want to know if they'll ever get the chance to talk to him face to face.

"I'm sure he won't talk to me," said protestor Ron Hughes. "He wouldn't talk to anyone who disagrees with him. He's said publicly many times, I won't talk to the Democrats. It's my way or the highway."

Some were able to catch a glimpse of Walker after he toured the facility. When they saw him leave the building, protestors blocked one of the exits, forcing the governor's driver to back up and go a different way.
