Randolph, MN (AP) -- A father and son are dead after a head-on collision in the southern Twin Cities.
The Minnesota State Patrol tells KSTP-TV the 18-year-old son from Roseville was driving on State Highway 56 in Dakota County when the car crossed into the path of a semi-truck Tuesday.
Both the father and son were wearing their seat belts. The truck driver, from Wisconsin, was not hurt.
Part of Highway 56 was closed while the State Patrol investigated the crash.
Names of the victims were not immediately released.
Roughly 100 people gathered in Columbia Park in Marshfield Tuesday evening for a vigil in response to the events in Charlottesville Saturday.
