WAUSAU (WAOW) --The ripple affects of last week's tragedy in Japan are heading home to Central Wisconsin.
It has been less than a week since the disaster in Japan. Here in Wisconsin local business are starting to plan for the future. For some, like Furniture and Appliance Mart, the future is still bright.
Neil Knoblack/Assistant Store Manager Furniture and Appliance Mart: "We haven't seen a significant change at all. We haven't seen any decrease with part suppliers or TV's for that matter."
Others are more concerned for the future.
Vicky Ratzman/Ace Hardware Store Manager: "Our trade show is coming up at the end of this month and we do order Christmas then, and a lot of that does come from Japan and overseas, which they are probably not even going to know the answer whether they are going to be able to get it or not because that stuff will start showing up in like August, September. I don't know how long it's going to straighten out everything that is going on there."
Newsline 9 talked with local auto dealers who said they are not concerned at having to re-stock cars and parts.
