HLN to feature case of missing Antigo teen Friday night

WAUSAU (WAOW) -- There are no new leads in the case of Kayla Berg who disappeared in August of 2009. The case gets national attention Friday as America's Missing on HLN airs her story from 8-9 p.m. The Antigo native was last seen in Wausau at the age of 16. Berg's mom, Hope Sprenger, says she's glad for any support that could help find her daughter.

"You never know. She could be anywhere and they see her picture and anything is a benefit," said Sprenger.

Sprenger says the show will use age progression to show what Kayla would look like now. America's Missing profiles missing persons across the country in hopes of zeroing in on leads to solve cases. Kayla's mom also tells us there will be new posters out this summer, again, showing what she may look like almost two years after her disappearance.
