WAUSAU (WAOW) -- Watching fish swim in an aquarium has been a long time relaxing attraction but if you don't know how to properly care for a fish tank it can turn unrelaxing quickly.
Dolores Glytas answers some fish tank questions.
Q. What are some things we need to think about when getting fish?
A. How much do we want to spend on your whole set up? Prices can range from a few dollars to a couple of thousand dollars. Do you want fresh water or salt water fish? There is a big difference in care and price between these two.
Q. Where should a fish tank be placed in my home?
A. It should be placed away from windows, outside doors, away from direct sunlight, heat vents and air conditioners. Rapid changes in temperature are extremely stressful to fish.
