WAUSAU (WAOW)--Staffing firms say there is good news for some industries in terms of growth, although the economy continues to slide.
Experts say health care is always on the rise and with baby boomers aging, there is a need for at home and elderly care. Also, summertime means a boost for the construction industry, as well as outdoor positions.
"Supportive home care is huge right now. With the growing population becoming older, they are looking to keep more individuals in their homes versus putting them into facilities," said Nicolet Staffing office manager Laurie Strand.
She also said summertime means more temporary and odd jobs will be available.
If you're looking for work, it's best to have an open mind given the economy.
