Tonight on Live at Five: Meth bust lands six suspects in jail in Clark & Wood Counties

CLARK COUNTY (PRESS RELEASE) -- After a lengthy investigation, the Clark County Sheriff's Department has arrested four subjects involved in the manufacturing of methamphetamine.  Arrested were:  Justine Bazinet, 38, Chili; David Schreindl, 36, Chili;  Candee McBride, 35, Loyal; and Craig Tuchalski, 36, Loyal.

The investigation led to the execution of two search warrants in Clark County on Thursday, March 31.  The residences were located in the Townships of Loyal and Fremont.  An active Meth Lab was located at the residence in the Township of Loyal.  An environmental service was called in to assist in the clean up of the hazardous substances.  The investigation is continuing and additional arrests are expected to be made.

As part of this investigation, an additional search warrant was executed in the City of Wisconsin Rapids that also resulted in the location of a Meth Lab.  Additional arrests were made by authorities in Wisconsin Rapids.

The Wisconsin Department of Justice-Division of Criminal Investigation, Marshfield Police Department, Wisconsin Rapids Police  Department and Loyal Fire and Ambulance Departments all assisted.

WOOD COUNTY (PRESS RELEASE)-- On March 31, 2011, members of the Central Wisconsin Drug Task Force, Marshfield Police Department, Wisconsin Rapids Police Department, and Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation executed a search warrant at a residence in the 600 block of 20th St. North in the City of Wisconsin Rapids. 

This search warrant was part of a larger investigation into four individuals producing methamphetamine within Clark County and Wood County. Two adult males were taken into custody at the Wisconsin Rapids residence on charges of manufacture of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine waste, possession of methamphetamine manufacturing materials, possession of marijuana, and other charges.  They are currently being held at the Wood County Jail.  The case is still under investigation into others who were involved into the production of methamphetamine at this location.   Two search warrants were executed in Clark County, yesterday, in connection to this case.
