Police arrest 6 on meth charges in Clark and Wood counties
CLARK & WOOD COUNTIES (WAOW) -- Police arrest six people on charges related to making meth in their own homes. Police forces between Clark and Wood counties worked together to find the people involved.
Officers from the Clark County Sheriff's department said they've been working this case for a long time, leading up to the arrests of four people in the area.
Authorities with the Clark County Sheriff's Department said they executed two search warrants, one of which was at a home in the township Loyal on Thursday. When they arrived at the scene, they found an active meth lab inside, a stark contrast to the children's toys littering the yard outside.
Two of the people they arrested live here, Candee McBride and Craig Tuchalski.
Officers from Clark County also exercised another search warrant at a home in the Township of Fremont. Two additional people were arrested, Justine Bazinet and David Schreindl. They live in Chili.
Wisconsin Rapids police exercised a search warrant at a home on 20th Street North where they arrested two men for charges related to meth. They are currently being held at the Wood County Jail. Along with felonies for having and making meth, the two from Wood County are also charged with having marijuana at their home.
Authorities said the investigation is still ongoing and they expect to make additional arrests in connection with this case.
