Margaret M. Laszewski, Age 85, of Stevens Point, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday April 10, 2011 at Ministry St. Michaels Hospital. She was born April 16, 1925 in Amherst Junction. The daughter of the late Felix & Helen (Cisewski) Repinski. She attended schools in Iola and Stevens Point. Her marriage to Ambrose (Buddy) Laszewski took place on June 22, 1957 at St. Casimir Catholic Church. Her husband died Feb. 1, 1961. Marge often spoke with much fondness of the 9 years she worked in nursing between St. Michaels Hospital in Stevens Point and St. Michaels Hospital in Milwaukee. She also worked for Globe Union in Milwaukee. Margaret also provided a child care center in her home for 23 years until her retirement. She was a member of the St. Peter Rosary society. Margaret enjoyed reading, needle work, walking, family gatherings and her new friendships and many activities during her residence at North Crest assisted living. Her greatest accomplishment was raising her 4 children following the early loss of her husband. She instilled them with the values of persistence, hard work and generosity with which she lived her life. If you wish to remember Marge, please do so with a kind deed or word to someone who needs you. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Community Partners or Big Brothers Big Sisters.
