Wisconsin Rapids DMV customer service center remains closed due to flooding and plans to reopen Tuesday, April 19 if waters recede
Customers are encouraged to visit either Marshfield or Stevens Point
The Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Wisconsin Rapids customer service center located at 6181 2nd Avenue South remains closed because of localized flooding; safety concerns are a priority. Alternate locations and hours of service include:
Stevens Point service center (full-service center) 1001 Maple Bluff Road - Suite 2 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. – Tuesday; 8 a.m.-4 p.m. – Wednesday
Marshfield service center (offers only driver licensing service) 503 S. Cherry Ave. 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. – Monday, Wednesday, Friday
The Wisconsin Rapids service center is scheduled to open again on Tuesday, April 19 with regular business hours: 8:45 a.m.-4:15 p.m. Customers are encouraged to check the status of the closure online.
DMV would like to remind customers that many services do not require a visit to a service center and are available online.
