MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- University of Wisconsin-Madison students plan to march silently on the Capitol to bring awareness to bullying in schools and universities.
The march and rally Friday is called Break the Silence.
Participants plan to march silently from the UC campus to the Capitol before they rally there. The event is meant to specifically target bullying against the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.
Students from other UW System schools and other technical and community colleges across the state are being brought in from across Wisconsin.
