Barbara A. Vogt, 67, Wausau, died Sunday, April 17, 2011 under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Marywood Center, Wausau.

She was born April 25, 1943 in Houston, Tex., daughter of the late Robert and Viola (Lechner) Vogt.

Barbara was a homemaker her entire life and some of her favorite pastimes included reading, crocheting, traveling, the theatre and spending time with her family. She was a member of the St. Michael Catholic Womens Club.

Survivors include, six siblings, Patricia (William) Casey, Middleton, Thomas (Paula) Vogt, Wausau, Margaret (Tim) Opper, Wausau, Daniel (Leann) Vogt, Bend, Ore., Rebecca (Oriol) Perez, Tampa, Fla., and Laurie (Steve) Pirtle, Cambridge; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 25, 2011 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Entombment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church.

Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
