Body found in river after call for help

TOWN OF BOVINA, Wis. (AP) -- Sheriff's officials in eastern Wisconsin have recovered a body from the Wolf River.

The Outagamie County Sheriff's Department says it received a call from someone who heard cries for help on the river in the Town of Bovina shortly before 5 p.m. Monday.  Sheriff's deputies and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources responded and searched the river.

Authorities discovered a boat anchored for fishing and about 6:30 p.m. found the body of a 65-year-old Town of Black Creek man downstream.
