OKC Bombing Remembered

Hundreds of people gathered this morning at the Oklahoma City National

Memorial and Museum to remember the victims of the Murrah Federal Building

bombing (4/19).

The explosion killed 168 people on April 19, 1995. Oklahomans vowed never to

forget. Now, 16 years later, survivors and family members meet downtown to

remember the loved ones they lost.

The ceremony began at 8:45 a.m. with a bagpipe procession. At 9:02 a.m, the

time the bomb went off, there will be 168 seconds of silence; one second for

each victim.

Governor Mary Fallin, family members and survivors read the names of all 168

bombing victims.
