Wis. students released after school lockdown

VERONA, Wis. (AP) -- A south-central Wisconsin school has released its students after a lockdown.

WKOW-TV reports Verona High School was placed on lockdown Monday after two students rolled up to the school -- one claiming to have a gun.

No gun was seen or has been recovered.

Coincidentally, there also was a training session going on at the school. The training involves law enforcement dealing with a shooter at the school.
