Parents find good deals on second-hand kids clothes
WESTON (WAOW) -- With a rough economy, penny-pinching parents find relief among the sale racks of second-hand kids clothing.
Parents scoped out deals at the ABC Kids Consignment sale where pre-owned clothes and toys filled the rooms at the Fairfield Inn in Weston. With budgets tight, some said used clothes can be the way to go since they're going to grow out of them soon anyway.
"We have a lot of name brand stuff and people sell it really cheap, way cheaper than retail prices," said ABC Kids owner Angela Quance. "People leave with hundreds of dollars of stuff, which would have cost over a thousand."
The sale continues Saturday at 8 AM and lasts until 5 PM. Store owners said most merchandise will be marked down to half-price and then docked even lower as it gets closer to closing time.
