CWA: Business as usual following bin Laden's death
MOSINEE (WAOW)-- Following the announcement of Osama bin Laden's death, the government warned of a heightened security threat for airports across the country. But officials at Central Wisconsin Airport say they don't expect this to change daily operations.
They say they have not received any alerts, and plan to continue with security procedures already in place since 9/11.
Travelers we spoke to also say the news won't affect their plans.
"I think it's business as usual," said Dan Drost. "I feel pretty comfortable with the security measures that are within the airport, and it really isn't changing any of my feelings with my business travels."
Security officials say travelers should still remain alert in airports and never leave luggage unattended.
