MARSHFIELD (WAOW) -- Newsline 9 asked people in Marshfield for their thoughts on the death of Osama bin Laden.
Chris Zifko spent several years overseas in the National Guard.
He says the news brought back different memories and emotions.
"It's kind of like mixed emotions for a lot of people. Especially for like us. We had a couple people that we were with that had gotten killed in the missions. It's highly emotional - I would imagine for a lot of people," Zifko said.
Kayla Ladwig's brother spent time overseas. She says the news caught her off guard.
"I was very surprised," Ladwig said. "I was actually really happy. I think it was a long time coming. I think that justice was served."
