MILWAUKEE (AP) -- A record number of passengers continue to pass through Milwaukee's airport.
Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele says March was the 19th straight month of record passenger numbers at General Mitchell International Airport.
The more than 896,000 passengers was a nearly 4 percent increase over March 2010.
In first quarter this year, the airport served more than 2.2 million passengers, up nearly 3 percent over the same period in 2010.
Abele says the airport plays a big role in bringing business and tourism to Milwaukee County.
