MARSHFIELD (WAOW) -- A Wisconsin DOT press release shows construction crews will be busy in Wood County this summer.
$16.6 million dollars is the cost of a new section of US 10 between County BB and Stadt Road in Marshfield.
The new portion of the road will be a four-lane divided highway.
That project is expected to start early June.
A project already underway carries a $14 million price tag.
It involves expanding about four miles of US 10 to a four-lane expressway that will take place between Stadt Road and White Oak Road.
"The main thing we ask drivers is keep aware of their surroundings in construction zones. Look out for changing conditions. Look out for slow or stopped traffic," WisDOT Project Development Supervisor Matt Bronson said.
Both projects are scheduled to end in November.
US 10 will remain open during both parts of construction.
