GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- More details are coming about the Packers plan for Lambeau Field renovations.
Packers' representative Jason Wied met with the Green Bay/Brown County Professional Football Stadium District board on Thursday.
He says they are considering moving the Packers Pro Shop and Curly's Pub to the east parking lot and moving the Packers Hall of Fame into the vacated spaces.
Wied says it would give the Hall of Fame greater visibility and increase its size from 20,000 square feet to as much as 35,000 square feet.
The Green Bay Press-Gazette reports http://bit.ly/j5AbXC that the Packers also plan to replace the stadium sound system, the scoreboards and add 7,000 to 8,000 seats in the south end zone.
Those projects are scheduled to begin in the 2012 offseason and take two off-seasons to complete.
