TOWNSHIP OF SARATOGA (WAOW)-- Among all the damage there is one story of hope.
Saratoga resident Jhae Larson had thirty seconds to get to his basement before the storm struck his Evergreen Ave home.
The storm only lasted minutes, and when Larson emerged from the basement he said he could hear a woman crying for help.
Larson immediately followed the cries and found his neighbor, a woman, pinned underneath her garage door. Larson immediately removed the door from her body and called for help. He stayed with the women until medics arrived and tried to comfort her.
She air-lifted her to St. Joe's Hospital in Marshfield.
So far the women's injuries are unknown.
