WAUSAU (WAOW)--For the last two months, tornadoes and severe weather have rocked the Midwest.
On Sunday, 9 tornadoes tore through the state damaging portions of Wood and Price Counties. In Western Wisconsin, La Crosse area homes and businesses were severely damaged.
Meanwhile in Joplin, Missouri, a violent tornado raged through the city killing 120 people. Another storm system struck the central U.S. Tuesday night, killing 13 people in three states.
In April, 14 tornadoes ripped through Wisconsin. In our area, Lincoln and Adams Counties sustained millions of dollars of damage.
