CALEDONIA, Wis. (AP) -- Cudahy police spent six hours chasing after a suicidal man who was wanted by multiple agencies on outstanding warrants.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports (http://bit.ly/kUHLZ0 ) that it started about 5 p.m. Saturday when police were called for a 37-year-old suicidal man.
While police surrounded the house, the man fled. Police tracked the man to another location and set up a second perimeter, only to find out he had fled again.
The man was eventually found again in Caledonia, in Racine County, where he remained for three hours.
After a six-hour standoff with officers and members of the county SWAT team, the man surrendered to officers at a family member's house.
Police said the man has a history of depression and violent contacts with police.
