ANTIGO (WAOW)-- Kayla Berg went missing in August of 2009. Antigo police said they continue to search for any clues regarding her disappearance.
Cadaver dogs were brought out last week to search certain areas of Langlade County. Although police said they did find some things of interest that were sent to the state crime lab, they are not necessary related to the Berg case.
Detective Dan Duley told Newsline 9 that reports of new evidence found in the case on Kevin Kielcheski's property are false. Although authorities searched around his property, they did not find any connection to Berg. According to police, Kielcheski was the last to see Berg on August 11th, 2009.
Kayla's mother, Hope Sprenger, said she continues to pray she will one day get to hold her daughter again. She waits for word of her daughter's disappearance daily.
Kayla would have graduated from Antigo High School on Sunday.
