Bikers tour North Central Wisconsin on 500 mile trip
RUDOLPH (WAOW) -- The Great Annual Bicycle Adventure continued on to Wisconsin Rapids Wednesday. Tuesday night, we showed yout he dozens of bikers camped out at John Muir Middle School in Wausau to sleep and ride out the storms. Storms continued to impact this next leg of the ride. Marianne and Gary Jacobs are from Colorado. They hit the road for their second year of the trek. Bikers log about 70 to 80 miles each day.
"This year we're doing the whole thing, and it's beautiful country. We've at least not had too much heat this time. We did have to go through a couple storms and maybe one coming up, but we're having a good time," said rider Marianne Jacobs.
The seven day tour along the Wisconsin River began in Land O' Lakes and finishes Saturday morning in Muscoda.
