Construction continues at Central Wisconsin Airport
MOSINEE (WAOW)--Slowly but surely Central Wisconsin Airport's new Rent-A-Car facility takes shape. CWA broke ground earlier this month.
Progress is being made, but flyers who choose to park at the airport now have less room. Metered short-term parking is also limited.
The estimated $31 million dollar airport renovation will also include expanded baggage check-in, ticketing and security areas.
Renovations are expected to span the next three years. Airport officials are waiting for the approval of state and federal grants to move forward with the rest of the project, which should be known in the next few months.
