WAUSAU (WAOW) -- Thousands of people gathered Wednesday evening at Wausau's newly-renovated 400 block for a Concert on the Square.
It's one of nine concerts scheduled there this summer. Wednesday's concert featured Unity playing Reggae, and the weather certainly cooperated. Crowds enjoyed a warm evening.
Crews closed 4th street to accommodate the crowds. People packed the 400 block grounds, bringing food, beverages, and lawn chairs.
The city has more concerts planned through mid-August. Bands will play a variety of music including Celtic rock, jazzy pop, and Latin/Salsa.
