Frmr. camp director heads to trial after investigators say he taped girls showering
RHINELANDER (WAOW) -- An Oneida County judge rules there is enough evidence to send Jeremy Fadoul to trial. He's been charged with felonies for allegedly recording young girls in a shower room and stealing more than $40,000 from the camp where he worked.
Detectives said they found an hour-long video of girls that they say was taken in the shower rooms at the summer camp where he worked, Camp Birchrock in Rhinelander. Some of the girls were wearing swimsuits and one was nude. The defense argued they can not confirm the girls did not give permission to be taped.
Rhinelander Police Detective Sergeant Joshua Pudlowski said they were able to identify some of the girls in the recording, but not the one who was nude. He told the judge the girls did not give any indication that they knew they were being taped at the time.
Fadoul's lawyer said they don't dispute the charges filed against him for theft. He'll return to court on July 18th for an arraignment.
