CORAL SPRINGS, FL (Press Release) – UW-Stevens Point golfers Danelle Olson (Detroit Lakes, Minn.) and Mary Welch (Madison/West) have been selected to the National Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Team for their efforts in the classroom during the 2010-11 season.
A total of 566 women's collegiate golfers across all three divisions of NCAA golf were recognized with the honor. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics, with honorees needing a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50.
