Wisconsin Rapids - With a record crowd expected at Historic Witter Field in Wisconsin Rapids this Monday, July 18th for the 2011 Marshfield Clinic Northwoods League All-Star Game, the Rafters have taken extra steps to ensure a great time had by all.
The team has added additional bleacher seats to the third baseline to accommodate standing room only ticket holders for the event on Monday. Tickets are still available for the Marshfield Clinic Northwoods League All-Star Game, which begins at 7:05 p.m. on July 18th. Former Milwaukee Brewer and Major League Hall of Famer Paul Molitor will be available for autographs in the concourse at Witter Field beginning at 5:30 p.m., with Rafters season ticket and package holders given first priority, followed by the public beginning at 6:05 p.m. Autographs will be limited to one item per person. No pictures will be taken WITH Paul Molitor, but fans are welcome to take photos of Paul as they wait in line.
Tickets for the All-Star Game can be purchased online at www.raftersbaseball.com, by calling the ticket office at 715-424-5400, or by simply stopping into Witter Field.
Great seats still remain for Sunday's event as well. It all opens up at 2:05 p.m. on Sunday, July 17th with the Marshfield Clinic Home Run Health Fest. The Health Fest will include some exciting activities and will last until 4:00 p.m. At 4:30 p.m. the league's top sluggers from both the North and South Divisions will compete in the 2011 Northwoods League Home Run Derby. Eight players, four from each Division, will square off to see who can hit the farthest and win the 2011 Derby title. Following the Northwoods League Home Run Derby will be an exhibition game featuring the Field of Dreams Ghost Players. The game will be a seven inning contest and will feature Ghost Players and local celebrities.
All events on Sunday, July 17th are included in the ticket prices of $6 for a reserved bleacher seat or $5 for standing room only (same as regular season ticket pricing). Food and beverage included in the 9 Game Packs, Solarus Founders Club, and Element Mobile Home Plate Club will be available beginning at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday and will last through the end of the 5th inning of the Field of Dreams Ghost Player Exhibition Game Sunday evening.

On Monday, July 18th the Northwoods League North Division All-Stars will take on the All-Stars from the South Division in the League's 17th Annual Marshfield Clinic Northwoods League All-Star Game beginning at 7:05pm.
