Quinn says he will fulfill Packers bet with Walker

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Democratic Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn says he will make good on a bet he made with Republican Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker over the Packers-Bears NFC championship game six months ago.

Quinn said Monday that he will come to Wisconsin, in a Packers jersey, and deliver Illinois food to a food pantry before the NFL season begins.

Walker made good on the bet Monday, handing out food in Kenosha.

Quinn says, "We'll pay the bet and this year the Bears will beat the Packers twice and go to the conference championship and win and then hopefully win the Super Bowl."

And he added, "We've had enough of these cheeseheads."

After beating the Bears in January, the Packers went on to win the Super Bowl.
