MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Hall of Famer Hank Aaron will be in Milwaukee on Aug. 11 to host his eighth annual "Evening With Hank Aaron" fundraiser at the NYCE Stadium Club at Miller Park.
The event raises money for the Hank Aaron Chasing the Dream Foundation he and his wife, Billye, created to help children with limited opportunities to develop their talents. All proceeds from the event benefit the fund and are used to help Milwaukee-area children.
The event includes dinner, a silent auction, a professional photo with Aaron and a special gift for each guest that's autographed by Aaron. There will also be a question-and-answer session with Aaron and Brewers TV analyst Davey Nelson.
Aaron, the 1957 NL MVP, hit 755 home runs in 23 seasons with Milwaukee and Atlanta from 1954-76.
